As a
cook's helper
at Tim Hortons Val-d'Or, you'll be involved in the daily operations of a busy kitchen. You'll handle everything from
prepping vegetables and fruit
to stocking fridges, packaging take‑out orders, and keeping all areas clean and organised. The role covers a variety of shifts, including
early mornings, evenings, nights, and weekends , giving you flexibility across the schedule. Working
on site
at the physical location, you'll be part of a team that keeps the kitchen running smoothly. Attention to food safety,

for a
40‑hour work week

A typical shift as a
cook's helper
involves a mix of food prep, customer service at the counter,
and kitchen maintenance. These tasks are essential to keeping the Tim Hortons kitchen operating safely and efficiently throughout all hours of operation. Place dishes
in designated storage areas to keep the kitchen organised Replenish condiments
and other supplies at tables and serving areas Package take‑out food
accurately and efficiently for waiting customers Prepare, heat and finish
simple food items as needed during service Serve customers
at counters or buffet tables in a friendly, timely manner Stock refrigerators
and salad bars to maintain product availability Use manual and electrical appliances
to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs Clean and sanitize
the kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment Handle and store
cleaning products safely and according to guidelines Receive, unpack and store
supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas Remove kitchen garbage
and trash as required Sweep, mop, wash and polish
floors to maintain cleanliness standards Wash, peel and cut
vegetables and fruit for food preparation Requirements / Skills
Tim Hortons #175 Val-d'Or is looking for someone dependable and willing to learn. The team will provide full training to get you up to speed. No degree, certificate or diploma
required — education is not a barrier to this role No prior experience necessary
