The Swift Current Child Care Centre is looking for a Food Manager.

The position is approximately 5-7 hours per day, Monday - Friday, and we are closed all Statutory Holidays. We offer competitive wages and benefits after 3 months as well as a fun and engaging work environment.

As our Food Manager, you’ll be responsible for:

- Planning nutritious menus following the Canada Food Guide
- Preparing and serving three meals each day for the children in our Centre
- Cooking and baking from scratch when appropriate
- Purchasing groceries and kitchen supplies
- Maintaining a clean, organized and secure kitchen

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

- High School Diploma
- Valid Food Safe Certification
- Valid Standard First Aid & Level C CPR
- Knowledge of nutritious menu planning and Health Department guidelines
- A professional, positive and reliable attitude
- Criminal Record Check & Vulnerable Sector Check are required prior to employment.
