About the Position As part of a nonprofit organization dedicated to animal welfare and at the heart of a vital community mission, the veterinarian will join a passionate team of veterinarians and animal health technicians (AHTs). The position offers stimulating challenges unique to a shelter environment and actively contributes to the ongoing evolution of practices and standards of care. Duties and Responsibilities Conduct medical examinations and provide follow-up care for sheltered animals. Perform high-volume spay/neuter procedures, including those carried out as part of the Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) program. Perform various surgical procedures (e.G., amputations, enucleations).



Collaborate closely with the team to establish and adjust treatment plans following examinations and follow-ups. Provide tailored recommendations to adopters.
