Role Description/Criteria We are seeking a Learning Support Officer at St. Vincent de Paul Primary School to join our committed staff for 2027. This position is a 0.81 FTE to commence on January 27, 2027. The position is over 5 days beginning at 8:30am and concluding at 3:30pm to support children within classrooms under the guidance of the classroom teacher. The role description outlining the requirements of this position is attached. The successful applicant will:

be able to work in a supportive team environment and have the capacity to establish, contribute to and maintain positive workplace relationships

providing support for a student's academic, social, emotional and behaviour learning

maintain notes to record student progress as required by NCCD





support the implementation of the student's Personalised Learning Plan

liaising with classroom teacher & Learning Diversity leader to review children's support program

be committed to building strong partnerships between families and school

be committed to ongoing skilled learning

have a strong commitment to wellbeing and child safety
