Accountant Job Overview

A leading and rapidly growing FMCG company is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accountant to join its finance team in Biratnagar, Morang. This opportunity is ideal for candidates looking to build a solid career in accounting, financial reporting, and management information systems (MIS). The ideal candidate will support day-to-day accounting operations, ensure accurate financial record keeping, and contribute to management reporting and business decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting Operations

- Maintain accurate accounting records and financial documentation.
- Record and verify daily financial transactions.
- Assist in invoice processing, payment entries, and reconciliations.
- Maintain books of accounts in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

MIS Reporting

- Prepare and maintain Management Information System (MIS) reports for designated business areas.
- Generate periodic financial and operational reports for management review.
- Support data analysis to facilitate informed business decisions.

Financial Support

- Assist in month-end and year-end account closing activities.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes.




- Coordinate with internal departments regarding finance-related matters.

Compliance & Documentation

- Maintain organized financial records and supporting documents.
- Assist in tax, statutory compliance, and audit-related activities.
- Ensure accuracy and confidentiality of financial information.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Management, or a related field.
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Prior experience in accounting or finance will be an added advantage.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
