We bring together experienced mining professionals to deliver practical, high-quality solutions while creating opportunities for our people to develop as technical experts and industry leaders.The OpportunityAs a Senior Mining Consultant – Open Pit, you will provide technical expertise and consulting services across a variety of surface mining projects in Canada and internationally.You will apply your mining engineering experience to mine planning and design, Scoping Studies, Pre-Feasibility Studies (PFS), Feasibility Studies (FS), NI 43-101 Technical Reports, mine optimization, technical due diligence, mine economics, and project management.You’ll work directly with clients and multidisciplinary technical teams while contributing to high-quality project delivery and practical solutions for mining operations.What You’ll DoLead and contribute to Scoping, Pre-Feasibility, and Feasibility StudiesComplete and review open-pit mine designs, schedules,



and mine plansConduct mine planning and optimization projectsConduct mine asset technical due diligence, evaluations, and operational reviewsDevelop and review mine economic models, cost estimates, and technical assessmentsPrepare and review NI 43-101 Technical Reports and equivalent international technical reportsProvide technical oversight and guidance throughout project deliveryManage technical deliverables in accordance with client-approved scopes, schedules, and budgetsCoordinate with partner groups, contractors, and sub-consultants as requiredApply practical, fit-for-purpose mining solutions and global best practicesIdentify and support the implementation of industry-leading mining technologyProvide peer review and technical guidance to project teamsBuild and maintain strong relationships with clientsSupport proposals, scopes of work, and client presentationsContribute to business development and the continued growth of Mining PlusWhat You Bring8+ years of mining and technical experienceA minimum of 5 years of relevant operational mining experienceA recognized degree in Mining Engineering, Mineral Engineering, or a related disciplineProfessional P.Eng. designation or equivalentStrong experience in open-pit mine planning, mine design, scheduling, and optimizationCompetency with mine planning software, with Deswik and/or Hexagon MinePlan 3D experience preferredExperience contributing to NI 43-101 Technical ReportsExperience with mine economics, cost modelling,
