About the Role

Our client is looking for a meticulous and experienced Senior Architectural Drafter to join their team in Kimberley . In this role, you will be responsible for producing high-quality technical drawings and documentation, supporting the architectural team throughout the project lifecycle. Your expertise in drafting software and your understanding of architectural detailing will be crucial in translating design concepts into accurate and buildable construction documents. This position offers the chance to work on a variety of projects and to contribute your technical skills within a collaborative and professional setting, with the benefit of a hybrid work arrangement. Key Responsibilities

Produce detailed architectural drawings, plans, sections, elevations, and schedules using CAD and BIM software . Develop construction documentation packages, including specifications and material details. Coordinate drawings with other disciplines, such as structural and mechanical engineering. Ensure accuracy and consistency in all drafted documentation,



adhering to company standards. Assist in site visits to gather information and verify existing conditions. Review shop drawings and submittments from contractors for compliance with design intent. Requirements

A diploma or certificate in Architectural Drafting or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Architectural Drafter or Technician. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit is mandatory. Strong understanding of architectural detailing, building codes, and construction processes. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in technical drawing production.
