About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Remote Automotive Technical Writer to create clear, concise, and accurate documentation for their automotive software and hardware products. This fully remote position allows you to work from anywhere, focusing on translating complex technical information into user-friendly manuals, guides, and online help content. You will collaborate closely with engineering, product management, and support teams to ensure all documentation meets the highest standards of quality and usability, contributing to an exceptional customer experience for a global automotive technology provider. Key Responsibilities

Research, write, and edit technical documentation, including user manuals, installation guides, API documentation, and troubleshooting guides. Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather information and ensure technical accuracy. Organize and structure information logically for maximum clarity and ease of use. Develop content for various formats, including print, web, and interactive platforms. Maintain and update existing documentation to reflect product changes and improvements.



Ensure consistency in style, tone, and terminology across all documentation. Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Technical Communication, English, Engineering, or a related field. 3+ years of experience as a Technical Writer, preferably in the automotive or technology sector. Proven ability to write clear, concise, and accurate technical documentation. Familiarity with automotive systems, software development lifecycles, and related technologies. Proficiency with documentation tools such as MadCap Flare, Oxygen XML Editor, or similar. Excellent research, interviewing, and organizational skills. Benefits
