The Lazaridis School of Business & Economics at Wilfrid Laurier University invites applications for a one-year Limited Term Appointment at the rank of Lecturer in Accounting, commencing September 1 2026. This is a full time teaching position with a home campus in Waterloo, Ontario. The position is subject to budgetary approval.Salary range: $89,919 to $125,000. Actual salary to be commensurate with experience.ResponsibilitiesTeach core and elective Accounting courses in the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), Graduate Diploma in Accounting (GDip), and Master of Business Administration (MBA) programs.Contribute through service work for the Accounting area and/or the Lazaridis School.Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistency across multi-section courses, including coordinating course content, drafting assignments and examinations, marking, and returning work in a timely manner.Engage in any or all of the three terms as needed (Fall, Winter, and Spring). Class times range from 8:30 a.M. to 10:00 p.M. from Monday to Friday.Participate in classroom and faculty meetings and contribute to the department’s and school’s goals and community.QualificationsEvidence of teaching excellence or the potential for teaching excellence at undergraduate and/or graduate levels.Proven ability to use technology,
