Field Valve Technician Assistant

based out of our

Fort St. John

Branch. Do you eat, sleep and breathe valves in various varieties? Are you a self-starter that has the ability to troubleshoot and solve problems on the fly? If yes, then you might just be who we're looking for.

The Role

Field servicing of Ball and Gate Valves

Repairs and inspections of Choke and Control Valves

Repair of ESD Valves and Components

In-house repairs to Manifold Valves, Actuators and ANSI Valves

Assistant to Lead with Tundra Service Truck - this includes maintenance, upkeep and applicable paperwork

Forklift Operations

The Candidate

At least 2+ years of industry experience in the Oil and Gas Sector

Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently with clients via phone or email

Able to work independently, as well as part of a team

Experience in pressure testing is preferred

Valid Forklift Operations Ticket

Experience and training in both Hoisting and Rigging

Small Crane Certificate is an asset

Valid Class 5 Drivers License and clean Drivers Abstract

Must be local to the Fort St.John area or willing to relocate

Compensation $22-28 per hour. Pay may vary based on skills, expertise, and performance, and is a component of the total rewards package.
