Our client, a dynamic tour operator specializing in unique local experiences, is seeking an enthusiastic and productive Remote Tour Guide Coordinator to manage their network of guides and ensure exceptional tour delivery. Based remotely but supporting operations in the Kimberley region, you will be the vital link between the company and its freelance guides, handling scheduling, communication, and quality assurance. This role is perfect for someone passionate about tourism and local culture, who excels at organization and remote team management, ensuring memorable adventures for clients. Key Responsibilities

Recruit, vet, and onboard freelance tour guides, ensuring they meet company standards and possess relevant expertise. Schedule and coordinate tour guides for various tours, managing availability and assignments effectively. Serve as the primary point of contact for guides, providing them with necessary information, support, and feedback. Monitor tour operations, gather feedback from both guides and clients, and implement improvements. Ensure guides are well-informed about itineraries, safety protocols, and customer service expectations.



Maintain accurate records of guide performance, availability, and payments. Requirements

Previous experience in tour operations, guide management, or a related role in the tourism industry. Exceptional organizational and scheduling skills, with strong attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, adept at managing remote relationships. Proficiency in scheduling software, communication tools, and standard office applications. A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to maintaining high service standards. Familiarity with the Northern Cape region and its tourism offerings is a significant advantage.
