Position Title Senior Accountant Job Type Full Time Department Finance Reports to Senior Manager, Finance Position Overview The Senior Accountant is responsible for maintaining the accuracy, integrity, and reliability of the organization's financial records and reporting processes. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Finance, this role oversees key accounting functions, supports the monthly and annual financial close processes, and ensures compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and organizational policies. The Senior Accountant provides financial analysis and reporting that supports informed decision-making across the organization. Working closely with budget managers, the Fund Development team, auditors, and other stakeholders, the role contributes to effective financial stewardship, operational excellence, and continuous improvement. The Senior Accountant also plays a critical role in ensuring audit readiness, maintaining strong internal controls, and supporting the organization's commitment to financial transparency and accountability.
