The YMCA in Oxford seeks passionate individuals for its licensed child care programs. This part-time position involves planning and implementing educational activities for children aged 0-6 while ensuring a safe, welcoming environment. Your work will foster healthy relationships and promote learning in the early years.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan child-centered experiences aligned with the YMCA curriculum
• Offer caring and supportive interactions with children and families
• Supervise and ensure the safety of children across the programs
• Uphold the YMCA's core values and mission
• Follow established policies and procedures for child care
Requirements:
• Experience with 0-12 age group in educational settings
• Current or completed Early Childhood Education qualifications
• Valid Standard First Aid and CPR certification
• At least 18 years of age and able to explicit background checks
• Fit to lift up to 20 kg and perform routine physical duties
