Excel at West Coast Reduction Ltd. as a Health & Safety Specialist, implementing safety programs across our Vancouver, Nanaimo, and Chilliwack facilities. Focus on compliance and enhancing employee safety.

In this critical role, you will direct health and safety initiatives at multiple WCRL facilities. The Specialist will ensure adherence to Work SafeBC regulations, deliver training, and maintain safety standards among staff and management. You’ll play an essential part in fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and enforce safety guidelines for compliance
Carry out workplace inspections to identify safety issues
Investigate and document workplace accidents




Deliver training sessions for staff on safety practices
Maintain updated safety documentation and training records

Requirements:
Minimum three years of OH&S; experience in an industrial setting
Certification or diploma in OH&S; or relevant field
Familiar with WSBC requirements and incident reporting
Solid leadership and communication skills
Able to adapt to various workplace conditions
