University is seeking a Non-regular Plumbing Instructor to provide short-term courses for Apprenticeship Levels and Plumbing Foundation. This role is an excellent chance for experienced professionals to shape the next generation of pipefitters and gasfitters. Ideal candidates will possess a BC Certificate of Qualification with Red Seal Endorsement and experience in plumbing instruction. Key Responsibilities:
Deliver Apprenticeship Levels 1, 2, 3, and 4 courses
Conduct Plumbing Foundation Level training
Facilitate hands-on practical projects in shop environments
Provide instruction in safety and tool management
Evaluate student performance and provide feedback Requirements:
BC Certificate of Qualification with Red Seal Endorsement
Current Gasfitter Class B Certificate
Cross Connection Testing Certificate
Field experience in plumbing practices
Ability to conduct a demonstration lesson Shape careers in plumbing education at KPU by sharing your expertise and skills.
