Support the Baby Steps program at NorWest Co-op as a Food Preparation and Child Care Staff member. This part time contract role is 3 hours per week, focused on food prep and child engagement. We are seeking motivated staff to assist in our Community Development efforts. The role is essential for maintaining safety and cleanliness while caring for young children and preparing snacks. Join our program to foster a positive setting for our community's little ones! Key Responsibilities:
Engage children during child-minding activities
Set up and maintain the child-minding workplace
Prepare snacks for the program
Clean and sanitize kitchen areas and equipment
Report on program stats and incidents to staff Requirements:
Energetic and confident in child interactions
Basic cooking and baking experience preferred
Must pass Criminal Record and Child Abuse Registry Checks
Food Handler’s Certificate is advantageous
Preferably possess Grade 12 or equivalent Be an essential part of our Healthy Baby program and ensure a safe, engaging atmosphere for children!
