Key Responsibilities
Transport Goods: Safely transport goods and materials to and from various locations using heavy or tractor-trailer trucks.
Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections and maintenance checks on the vehicle to ensure it is in positive order. Report on any mechanical issues immediately.
Safety Compliance: Adhere to all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company safety policies, including maintaining accurate driving logs and complying with hours of service regulations.
Loading and Unloading: Load and unload cargo, ensuring that it is securely fastened and protected from damage during transport.
Communication: Effectively communicate with dispatch or management regarding any issues or discrepancies that arise during transport.

Required Skills and Qualifications
Valid AZ Driver’s License: Must possess a valid AZ driver’s license and a clean driving record.
Driving Experience:



Previous experience driving heavy vehicles, preferably with a minimum of 2 years of current driving experience.
Knowledge of Traffic Laws: Robust understanding of traffic laws and regulations, as well as basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting skills.
Strong Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with team members and clients, ensuring clear understanding of delivery requirements and schedules.
Customer Service Orientation: A focus on providing excellent service to clients and maintaining professional relationships.

Additional Information
AZ drivers may be required to work flexible hours, including overtime during peak periods.

Compensation:
$27/hour
Overtime available.
