Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and energetic Host/Busser to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant workplace. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent guest services, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere, and assisting with the overall dining experience. Duties
Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables.
Manage reservations and maintain an organized seating chart.
Assist servers by clearing tables promptly and efficiently after guests leave.
Ensure that dining areas are clean, well-stocked, and presentable at all times.
Provide support to the kitchen staff as needed, including refilling supplies and assisting with food service.
Handle phone calls professionally, taking reservations or answering guest inquiries as needed.
Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy service periods.
Uphold high standards of customer service to enhance the overall dining experience for guests.
Qualifications
Previous experience in food service or hospitality is an asset but not required.
Strong phone etiquette and customer service skills are essential.
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with guests and team members.
Familiarity with POS systems is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided.
Must be able to work in a quick-paced environment while maintaining composure under pressure.
A positive attitude and willingness to help others are crucial for success in this role.
Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
