Job Title: Part-Time Dental Hygienist
Location: Optimum Dental – Ontario, Canada
Schedule:
Saturday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Currently Alternate Saturday- Twice a Month

Position Summary:
As a Dental Hygienist at Optimum Dental, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality preventive oral health services and educating patients on proper dental hygiene practices. You will work closely with our team to support our mission of promoting lifelong oral health.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive dental cleanings and periodontal maintenance
Take and process digital dental X-rays
Conduct oral health assessments and chart conditions of teeth and gums
Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and preventive care




Apply fluoride treatments and dental sealants
Maintain accurate and thorough patient records
Follow all infection control and safety protocols in accordance with public health and regulatory standards

Qualifications:
Must hold a valid license to practice as a Dental Hygienist in Ontario (registered with the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario – CDHO)
Current CPR certification
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail and organization
Experience with Maxident dental software is preferred
Skilled, compassionate, and team-oriented attitude
