Service Pro Plumbing, Heating and Gas is a locally owned and operated Service Plumbing company in Campbell River. We are looking to recruit a plumber apprentice to help expand our amazing team. Motivated, ambitious, team players will thrive and grow with a company that cares about you.

Duties

Under the direction of the site journeyman/woman: move/haul material, pull water lines, fire caulking, thread pip and assist with any other tasks as required.
Apprentices will learn to independently: thread pipe, install drainage, soldering, assembling tub valves run water and sewer lines, dig out plumbing pipes and repair, install sinks, faucets water tanks ect. and assist with any other tasks required.

and the use of proper lifting techniques required to handle heavy tools and parts weighing up to 30 kilograms

Requirements
Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
Interest in learning HVAC systems
Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team environment
Mechanical aptitude for assembling components
Willingness to learn how to weld and use various tools
Solid desire to build a career in plumbing industry

Other Skills
Ability to visualize a finished product from a document
Ability to stand for long periods of time and do some moderately heavy lifting and carrying
Ability to work in high, awkward, and noisy places
Mechanical aptitude
Ability to work alone or with others
The ability to contribute to a highly team-oriented workplace
Solid communication skills

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
