Indian River Farms is seeking a skilled and reliable Windrower Operator to join our harvest team in Kensington, Prince Edward Island.

For more than 35 years, Indian River Farms has been proudly growing potatoes and contributing to our local farming community. As our operation continues to grow, we are looking for dependable team members who share our commitment to quality, safety, innovation, and continuous improvement.

As a Windrower Operator, you will be responsible for operating farm equipment for potato harvesting activities. This includes operating a windrower to cut and dig up crops, as well as performing basic equipment checks and maintenance, and help ensure safe and efficient farm operations throughout the season.

Qualifications
Experience operating a Windrower or similar farm equipment
Team player with an ability to participate in cross-functional teams

Requirements
Operate and maintain the Windrower machine




Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance to ensure safe operation.
Monitor equipment performance and report any mechanical issues.
Follow all farm safety procedures and operating guidelines.
Keep equipment clean and maintain a secure work area.
Work with the farm team to support effective harvest operations.
Maintain accurate records of equipment use and maintenance when required.

Job types: Full-time, Seasonal

Pay: $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 44.0 per week
