Responsibilities
Approach individuals in various neighborhoods to introduce our organization’s mission and initiatives
Clearly communicate the importance of donations and support for our causes
Record donor information accurately using digital databases, including Raiser's Edge or similar platforms
Conduct research on community demographics to identify potential supporters and optimize outreach strategies
Provide excellent customer service by answering questions, addressing concerns, and maintaining a positive attitude
Maintain detailed records of interactions, donations,
and follow-up actions in our databases
Collaborate with team members to meet fundraising goals and share best practices for engagement
Experience
Previous experience in customer service, sales, or community outreach is advantageous but not required
Familiarity with databases such as Raiser's Edge or other CRM systems is a plus
Strong research skills to identify target neighborhoods and supporter profiles
Ability to communicate effectively, confidently, and professionally in face-to-face settings
Basic understanding of marketing principles to promote organizational initiatives effectively
Passion for social causes, community engagement, and making a difference through direct interaction
