Responsibilities
Safely operate your own commercial truck to transport freight to designated locations, adhering to all safety regulations and traffic laws
Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of your vehicle, including checking brakes, lights, tires, and load securement
Load and unload freight using equipment such as forklifts when necessary, ensuring proper handling and safety procedures are followed
Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding delivery schedules, route adjustments, or any issues encountered during transit




Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, mileage, fuel consumption, and freight documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
Perform minor automotive repairs or troubleshooting to keep your vehicle in optimal condition
Operate heavy equipment safely when required for loading or unloading freight

Qualifications
Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record
Proven experience in commercial driving and freight transportation
Ability to operate heavy equipment such as forklifts safely and efficiently
Knowledge of automotive repair basics for routine maintenance and troubleshooting
Familiarity with safety protocols related to freight handling and heavy equipment operation
Robust communication skills for coordination with dispatchers and clients
Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
