Contribute to Defence Construction Canada (DCC) as a Talent Acquisition and Retention Specialist over a 12-month term. This hybrid role focuses on enhancing recruitment processes and ensuring effective talent management. In this position based in Ottawa, you will manage candidate applications through shortlisting, interviews, and linkage with hiring managers.

Additionally, you will work on developing community partnerships for talent sourcing while reporting data-driven insights to support workforce strategies. Your expertise will help maintain a consistent approach to recruitment and retention. Key Responsibilities:
Oversee candidate communications and recruitment logistics
Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies
Collaborate with HR teams to optimize hiring practices




Manage databases and applicant tracking systems like Taleo
Foster relationships within DCC and industry stakeholders Requirements:
A minimum college diploma in HR management with four years’ experience
Bilingual (French and English) proficiency is required
Experience with applicant tracking systems like Taleo is a plus
Familiarity with human resources legislation and best practices
Proficiency in using MS Office, especially Excel Support DCC's mission by utilizing your skills in talent acquisition and engagement to enrich our recruitment effectiveness.
