Responsibilities
Assist with food preparation, including chopping, assembling ingredients, and portioning meals to ensure timely service
Support cooking activities by following recipes and kitchen procedures under supervision
Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations, utensils, and equipment to uphold food safety standards
Serve food to guests or staff in a courteous and efficient manner, ensuring proper presentation and portion control
Handle food safely by adhering to hygiene protocols, proper storage, and sanitation practices
Support inventory management by restocking supplies and notifying supervisors of low stock levels




Follow all health and safety regulations to create a safe environment for staff and customers

Qualifications
Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, or the food industry is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential
Knowledge of food handling procedures, meal preparation techniques, and cooking basics
Strong understanding of food safety standards and sanitation practices
Excellent serving skills with a friendly, positive attitude towards guests and team members
Ability to work efficiently in a quick-paced workplace while maintaining attention to detail
Kitchen experience or familiarity with restaurant operations is advantageous
Reliable team player with valuable communication skills and a proactive approach to tasks

Pay: $17.60 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 35.0 per week
