The main role of this position is the planning and preparation of meals at the lodge for guests and staff during their trips. Specific details include:
Cooking and Prep and serving of all meals throughout the week: Breakfasts, lunches, appetizers, dinners, desserts
Cleaning and maintenance of all kitchen equipment, appliances, dishes and utensils
Proper and safe use of all kitchen equipment and appliances
Keeping the kitchen and dining areas clean and tidy
Adherence to proper food preparation and service regulations, as well as specific lodge safety procedures/protocols
Must be able to work both independently or with a team in a very remote location

Qualifications:
Must have current Food Safe certifications.
Experience in cooking or Prep-Cook .
Specific backcountry work experience and knowledge is preferred but not mandatory

Possibility of long-term employement for the right candidate.

Job Types: Full time, Part time

Pay: $21.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40.0 per week
