Position Overview Reporting to the Industrial Engineer Manager, The Industrial Engineer Technologist is responsible for the development, improvement,



implementation and evaluation of processes within the manufacturing area of the business as well as being responsible for the input and maintenance of the Engineering and Production data within the ERP (D365) and Leadtec system. What You'll Do Establish labor standards through methods analysis and time studies and resolve questions relating to job utilization and performance. Present current labor standards to employees and the Union, and present and defend findings when a grievance is filed. Recommend methods for improving workers efficiency and reducing waste of materials and utilities. Restructure job duties, reorganize work flow, relocate work stations / equipment, and purchase and inventory of equipment. Determine how best to use the workforce to achieve maximum productivity. Provide ongoing recommendations for productivity improvement. Establish costs and methods for new styles. Develop, monitor and improve our manufacturing process ensuring the highest quality and the lowest cost products are produced using best practices such as Lean Manufacturing. Demonstrate leadership by mentoring production staff and promote knowledge
