Professional Liability Underwriter - 125 - IW-125 Job title: Professional Liability Underwriter - 125 Location: Toronto Our client is a growing specialty insurance organization seeking an experienced and entrepreneurial underwriter to join its Professional and Specialty Liability team. This role offers the opportunity to manage and expand a profitable portfolio while building strong relationships with brokers and carrier partners. The successful candidate will play a key role in underwriting new and renewal business, driving production, and contributing to the continued growth of a well‑established specialty insurance operation. Key Responsibilities Skilled & Specialty Liability Underwriting Underwrite new business submissions from retail brokers Evaluate and negotiate renewal opportunities Manage and maintain an existing book of business Develop new business opportunities through broker relationships Achieve assigned production and profitability objectives Ensure service standards are consistently met Support the growth of specialty liability products including: Medical Malpractice and Healthcare Liability Professional Liability (E&O;) Directors & Officers Liability (D&O;)
