We are looking for a reliable, responsible and caring person to provide after-school transportation and support for our two children - an 8-year-old boy and a 12-year-old girl. Activities are primarily in the Shaughnessy, Arbutus and UBC areas.

Key Responsibilities
Pick up the children after school and drive them safely to scheduled activities.
Provide supervision and childcare support between activities.
Help keep the children’s activity schedule organized.
Communicate promptly with the parents about schedules, transportation and any changes.

Requirements
Robust spoken English for explicit communication with the children, parents, schools and activity providers.
Valid driver’s licence and an excellent driving record.
Previous childcare, nanny, teaching, coaching or family-assistant experience.
Reliable, punctual, safety-conscious and comfortable caring for school-aged children.




Able to provide references and complete a background check.
Access to a protected and reliable personal vehicle is preferred.

Compensation & Vehicle Use

Compensation is $25–$30 per hour, depending on experience. If you use your personal vehicle, mileage will be reimbursed at an agreed business mileage rate. The cost of any required additional insurance coverage for transporting the children will also be provided.
