Belton Direct Rigging & Industrial Services is a fast growing, well established industrial moving contractor belonging to the IUOE Local 115. We work within a diverse industry portfolio with many engaging projects all over the lower mainland. We have a very experienced team of rigging and industrial moving professionals and are looking for motivated candidates to join our team.

There is an exciting opportunity for a talented qualified to join our team in Delta as an Industrial Mover & Rigger. This role will be responsible for working within high-performance crews and will require a high standard of safety.

Job Description:
Work within high-performance teams of 2 - 5 members
Utilize equipment effectively and efficiently to rig, jack, slide, hoist, and load/unload machinery as required
Communicate effectively with team members and carry out tasks set forth by Foreman
Follow all project policies and working rules
Ensure that all work scope is completed in a safe manner, ensuring no detrimental impact to personnel or equipment
Carry out all duties in a courteous and skilled manner, leading to high customer satisfaction

Summary of Responsibilities and Requirements:

Experience as a Mover, Rigger,



Operator or related field working on a variety of job sites in the industrial and commercial sector is an asset but not a must. The following is relevant experience that will be prioritized:
Valid forklift ticket
Fall Protection/Aerial Work Platform/First Aid/WHMIS
Class 1 or 3 license is an asset
Valid knuckle boom crane ticket is an asset
Must be willing to work overtime during regular work week and weekends
Able to stay alert and maintain a high level of concentration
Ability to work with hand and power carpentry tools and other construction equipment
Ability to assess situations and identify potential hazards
Represent the company, resolving customer concerns and keeping a positive attitude

Current employer contribution to union pension is $7.50/hr on top of base wage.
