Join us at CaraCo Property Management, a family-owned successful business that is seeking summer painters to help us with our residential buildings!

Key Responsibilities
Apply coatings such as paints, varnish, stains, stipple, wallpaper, surface preparatory materials, and undercoating materials to a variety of surfaces, interiors, and exteriors alike, all in a qualified manner
Prepare surfaces for coatings by cleaning, scraping, stripping, filling, patching, and sanding
Maintain existing paint surfaces by matching and tinting paint products
Determine appropriate colors for recent or replacement applications through consultation with the Maintenance Supervisor
Always remove all door handles, switch plates, thermostat covers, etc. prior to painting, and replace when the paint has dried
Operate compressors, spray equipment, and other small power equipment
Install, repair, and maintain drywall, wallpaper, wall texturing, and ceiling acoustic texturing
Clean equipment, paint mixing area, and work area




Mark and store different types of coatings in compliance with related fire and health and safety regulations, policies, and procedures
Assemble and disassemble scaffold and climb ladders, using approved safety methods
Dispose of paints, stains, preparatory and undercoating materials, and other hazardous materials, safely and appropriately
Reporting and tracking all work in Yardi
The foregoing responsibilities must be consistent with CaraCo’s Standard Operating Policies and Procedures

Education and Experience
Minimum high school diploma or equivalent education
College diploma or vocational training preferred but not essential

Other Requirements
Employment is conditional on a clean criminal records check
Valid driver’s license

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
