Duties
Prepare a variety of baked goods including bread, pastries, cakes, and cookies with precision and creativity
Decorate cakes and desserts using various techniques to meet customer specifications and presentation standards
Follow food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures to ensure product quality and safety
Assist with food preparation tasks such as measuring ingredients, mixing doughs, and assembling baked items
Package baked goods efficiently for retail display or customer takeout while maintaining freshness and presentation
Maintain cleanliness of the bakery area, including equipment sanitation and workspace organization




Support the team during busy periods by managing multiple baking stations and ensuring timely production of products

Skills
Proven experience in baking, cake decorating, or a related food industry role
Strong knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
Excellent skills in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations
Ability to work efficiently in a quick-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Exceptional customer service skills to engage positively with customers and address their needs
Experience with restaurant or bakery environments is preferred but not required
Familiarity with packaging techniques for baked goods and food industry best practices
