Responsibilities *
Plan lessons and resources
Teach techniques on strengthening and increasing speed in fingers
Help students prepare for upcoming performances
follow studio policies (to be discussed during interview)
to interact and stay organized with studio manager
respond to emails or text quickly
punctual start and end of lesson time with each student, along with perfect attendance
organized in keeping tabs on schedule, demos, and make-ups.
Communicate with the studio director on a regular basis

Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities *
excellent guitar skills
a good knowledge of guitar styles (ie: jazz, classical, etc.)
patient and enthusiastic
positive communication skills
self – motivated and positive organizational skills
a positive sense of humor and comfortable talking with students and parents

Education & Experience *
Teacher must be familiar with genres other than Classical
MUST have some music certifications , and/or degree related to music
Experience in teaching children

Job Types: Part time, Fixed term contract

Pay: From $35.00 per hour
