Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Level 3 Early Childhood Educator to support our cozy daycare. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and excellent communication skills. This role involves planning and implementing age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development. Must be willing to work flexible hours between 6:00am-6:00pm.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards
Create a protected, inclusive, and stimulating classroom setting conducive to learning and development
Observe and assess children's progress, documenting developmental milestones and areas for improvement
Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding children's progress and classroom activities
Maintain organized records of attendance, assessments, and lesson plans using computer skills and classroom management software
Uphold health, safety,
and sanitation standards in accordance with licensing regulations
Skills
Proficiency in English
Experience working with children in educational or childcare settings
Knowledge of early childhood education principles and best practices
Solid communication skills for interacting with children, parents, and colleagues
Excellent organizational skills
Effective time management to balance lesson planning, instruction, and assessments
Leadership qualities to guide young learners confidently
Level 2 with sufficient relevant experience may be considered.
