Job Summary

We are looking for a friendly and dependable Food Service Worker to join our team. In this role, you'll be an essential part of delivering quality food service in a busy environment, helping with meal preparation, serving, and maintaining a clean and safe dining area. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about food service, has positive time management skills, and enjoys working with others to create a positive experience for residents and guests alike.

Responsibilities
Assist with food preparation and meal assembly according to established recipes and safety standards.
Serve meals to residents or guests in a courteous and timely manner.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all food service areas, including dining rooms, kitchens, and storage spaces.
Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene are upheld at all times.
Support the team during meal times by helping with setup, serving, and cleanup tasks.
Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed to provide a secure setting for everyone.




Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate meal service and address any special dietary needs.

Experience
Previous experience in food service, hospitality, assisted living, nursing homes, hospitals, or the food industry is preferred but not required.
Knowledge of food preparation, cooking, and food safety practices is advantageous.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with residents or guests.
Ability to manage time efficiently during busy meal periods.
Experience with food handling, sanitation, and cleaning procedures is a plus.
A team-oriented attitude with willingness to learn current skills related to food service operations.

Pay: $17.50 per hour
