Dalmeny Daycare Inc. is looking to hire a Cook/Educator to join our team! We are looking for someone who is energetic, positive, outgoing, takes initiative, and a team player who loves working with children!

We are a 42-space licensed Childcare facility located in Dalmeny, Sk. We provide high quality early learning and childcare to children ages 18 months to 6 years.

The Cook is responsible for providing nutritious meals and snacks for the children following the guidelines as set out by the Ministry of Education and Canada Food Guide. Responsibilities include menu planning, ordering groceries, food preparation, and cleaning.

As a Cook, you must have your Food Protected Handling Certificate, First Aid and CPR, and a clear current criminal record check & vulnerable sector check (within the last 6 months) prior to starting.

When you are not in the kitchen,



you will be in the classroom working with children and assisting the other educators. Preference will be given to candidates that possess or are willing to obtain certification in Early Childhood Education. Some experience with children is a must!

Please note that we are in a rural community location and there is no public transit available.

Pay: $16.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35.0 per week
