We are seeking a motivated and skilled Pipe Layer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing underground piping systems essential for infrastructure projects. Your expertise will help ensure that projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. This position offers an exciting prospect to work with heavy equipment and advanced tools, contributing directly to vital construction and utility installations.

Duties
Lay and install underground pipes using a variety of heavy equipment such as excavators, backhoes, and bucket trucks
Operate power tools, hand tools, and rigging equipment safely and effectively to prepare pipe trenches and connections
Coordinate with team members to ensure accurate placement of pipes according to project specifications and blueprints
Perform welding on pipe joints when necessary, ensuring secure and durable connections
Use electrical experience to troubleshoot low voltage systems related to piping or associated infrastructure
Conduct routine inspections of equipment including excavators, bucket trucks, and other heavy machinery to maintain optimal performance
Assist in the setup of safety barriers,



signage, and protective measures during excavation and installation activities

Experience
Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience operating heavy equipment such as excavators, backhoes, bucket trucks, and rigging gear
Demonstrated ability to work with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and electrical systems involving low voltage wiring
Prior experience in pipe laying or underground utility installation is highly desirable
Knowledge of safety protocols related to heavy machinery operation and excavation work
Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and project specifications accurately
Robust problem-solving skills with a focus on precision and safety in all tasks performed

Pay: $30.00-$50.00 per hour
