Oil Change/Tire Technician Job Description

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Oil Change/Tire Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background and a passion for automotive repair. As an Oil Change/Tire Technician, you will be responsible for completing oil changes and maintenance and the installation, maintenance, and repair of tires, ensuring the safety and satisfaction of our customers.

Duties
Install, balance, and rotate tires on various vehicles.
Change oil, filters on various vehicles
Perform tire repairs and replacements as needed.
Conduct thorough inspections of tires to identify wear patterns and potential issues.
Complete safety inspections during routine maintenance.
Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during tire service operations.
Maintain a clean and organized work workplace while adhering to safety protocols.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service delivery.

Skills




Previous oil change or mechanic experience is highly desirable.
Solid mechanical knowledge related to automotive systems and tire maintenance.
Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to tire service tasks.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
Capability to perform heavy lifting as required during tire installations and repairs.
Familiarity with automotive repair processes is an advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.70-$25.00 per hour
