Responsibilities
Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper dosage and administration instructions are transparent to patients
Provide expert advice on medication use, potential side effects, and interactions to patients and healthcare providers
Collaborate with medical staff to develop and review patient medication plans, especially in acute care and hospital settings
Maintain meticulous records of prescriptions, medication inventories, and patient interactions in compliance with regulatory standards
Monitor patient responses to medications, adjusting therapy as needed in coordination with healthcare teams
Educate patients on proper medication storage, adherence, and safety precautions,



including pediatric considerations when applicable
Stay current with medical terminology, pharmaceutical developments, and regulatory requirements to ensure best practices in patient care

Requirements
Valid pharmacist license or certification as required by local regulatory authorities
Proven experience working in hospital or acute care environments is highly preferred
Solid knowledge of medical terminology and medication administration protocols
Experience with pediatric medication management is a plus
Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate patient care while maintaining attention to detail
Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with healthcare teams and educating patients
Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced setting

Pay: $42.31-$55.00 per hour
