Overview

We are looking for a reliable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Floor Care / Cleaning Staff member to join our team. The ideal candidate will have previous hands-on experience with floor stripping, waxing, and general floor care and take pride in delivering high-quality results.

Duties
Perform floor stripping, waxing, and refinishing according to company standards
Operate floor-care machines, equipment, and cleaning tools safely and properly
Prepare floors for stripping and waxing, including moving equipment or furniture when required
Apply floor finish evenly and ensure floors have a clean, skilled appearance
Perform general cleaning and janitorial duties as required
Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of floors and other assigned areas
Follow established cleaning procedures, company policies, and workplace safety standards
Use cleaning products and equipment appropriately and safely
Inspect completed work to ensure quality and attention to detail
Report any maintenance issues, damage, or concerns to the appropriate supervisor
Work independently or as part of a team to complete cleaning assignments efficiently




Maintain a skilled and respectful attitude while working on client properties

Qualifications
Previous experience with floor stripping and waxing is required
Knowledge of proper floor-care procedures and equipment
Ability to safely operate floor machines and other cleaning equipment
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Good communication and skilled attitude
Ability to follow instructions, procedures, and safety requirements
Physical ability to perform cleaning duties for extended periods

We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work and understands that high-quality cleaning requires consistency, attention to detail, and proper technique. The successful candidate should be dependable, take responsibility for their work, and consistently maintain a high standard of cleanliness.

Pay: $20.50-$26.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
