A private residence in central Toronto is seeking an experienced, highly organized House Manager to oversee the day-to-day care, organization, and readiness of the home. The residence is well staffed, including an Estate Manager to whom the House Manager reports.

The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, discreet, and takes pride in maintaining an exceptionally well-run household.

Key Responsibilities
Wardrobe management, including organization, seasonal rotations, and coordinating professional garment care and laundry services. Some basic pressing of garments is required.
Maintaining household inventories and ensuring the home is consistently well stocked and provisioned
Coordinating and working with a team of Housekeepers
Assembling easy floral arrangements
Supporting the Chef in all entertaining at the home
Detailed organization of closets, cupboards, storage areas, and household items
Completing and tracking routine preventative maintenance tasks throughout the residence
Regularly inspecting the home and identifying items requiring maintenance, repair, cleaning, or attention
Ensuring outdoor areas, entrances, terraces, and other exterior spaces are clean, tidy,



and properly maintained
Coordinating household purchases, deliveries, and service providers as required
Maintaining household systems, schedules, checklists, and records
Supporting the overall presentation and smooth day-to-day operation of the residence

Qualifications
Previous experience in a private residence
Previous experience managing a high-end wardrobe, including ironing/pressing
Robust English language skills, also Portuguese or Polish is a plus
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
Strong initiative and ability to anticipate household needs
Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of responsibilities
Qualified, discreet, reliable, and flexible
Valid driver’s licence and clean driving record required

This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys creating order, maintaining high standards, and ensuring that a home is consistently prepared, organized, and well cared for.

Pay: $110,000.00 per year
