Duties
Assist with basic food preparation tasks, including chopping, peeling, and assembling ingredients to support chefs and cooks
Maintain high standards of cleanliness by washing dishes, cleaning workstations, and sanitizing kitchen equipment regularly
Support food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene compliance across all kitchen operations
Help with food service activities such as setting up serving areas and assisting with plating when needed
Ensure the kitchen area is organized, stocked with supplies, and free from clutter to facilitate efficient workflows
Follow all health and safety guidelines diligently to create a safe setting for staff and customers




Support the broader hospitality team by assisting with general cleaning duties and ensuring the kitchen meets cleanliness standards

Experience
Prior experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential; enthusiasm to learn is most important
Familiarity with food handling procedures and basic cooking skills is advantageous
Experience in cleaning or maintaining commercial kitchens will be highly valued
Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food service operations enhances your ability to succeed in this role
Previous hotel or restaurant experience provides a solid foundation for understanding hospitality standards
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
A positive attitude and willingness to support team members are key qualities for success
