Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Real Estate Law Clerk/Conveyancer to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in managing real estate transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance throughout the conveyancing process. The law clerk is expected to manage real estate matters (sales, purchases, refinances and private mortgages) from beginning to end with minimal supervision, conduct and review title and off-title searches, draft and coordinate documents required for closing, and correspond with clients, lenders and opposing counsel.

The successful candidate must possess strong attention to detail, communication skills, work ethic and ability to multitask in a faced paced and high pressure work workplace.

Duties
Prepare, review, and proofread legal documents related to real estate transactions.
Conduct thorough title/off-title searches.
Manage multiple transactions simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met.
Coordinate with clients, real estate agents, mortgage broker and lenders to request, gather,



review and organize necessary information and facilitate smooth transactions.
Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when communicating with clients and external parties to ensure professional interactions at all times.

Qualifications
Proven clerical experience with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Knowledge of Unity or comparable conveyancing software is preferred.
Ability to perform data entry accurately while maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.
Previous law clerk in a real estate setting is highly desirable.
Exceptional phone etiquette and client service skills to foster positive relationships with stakeholders.

Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
