What's the role

We are seeking an experienced Automotive Shop Foreman to join the #1 Volume Mazda Dealership. The ideal candidate must have at least 2+ years of experience as an Automotive Technician.

Requirements:
Automotive technician certification
Journeyman license
Valid G license
Clean driving record
Able to work Weekdays & Saturdays
Must be a team player & detail-oriented

Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair vehicles as required
Perform routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections
Test and inspect parts for wear and tear
Maintain accurate records of service and repairs
Keep up with the latest automotive technology and advancements - hybrid models




Perform Safety Inspections on vehicles as per MTO regulations
Remain updated with current training courses through Mazda Canada (in-class and online)
Comply with required health and safety regulations
Document work performed on work orders
Wheel alignments and bleed the hydraulic brake system
Road-test vehicles to quality-check work performed or refer to Service Manager
Responsible for practical instruction and support for any assigned Apprentice Mechanics / Technician
