Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced, motivated and detail-oriented Water Damage Technician to join our restoration team. You will be responsible for assessing and mitigating properties affected by water damage. Your expertise will help clients recover quickly and efficiently from unforeseen water-related incidents. This position offers an exciting chance to develop your skills in restoration and construction.

Duties
Respond promptly to water damage emergency calls and assess the extent of damage in office
Operate equipment such as moisture meters, dehumidifiers, air movers, and other specialized tools to dry out structures
Knowledge and ability to perform structural drying procedures as per IICRC guidlines
Monitor job sites and document drying
Use hand tools and power tools to extract water, remove damaged materials




Operate and maintain a truck mount extractor
Perform thorough cleaning of affected areas, including mold remediation and debris removal
Assist with demolition and construction tasks necessary
Document all work performed, including photographs, measurements, and detailed reports using PSA and other programs as required
Follow safety protocols to ensure a secure working setting
Pack and load contents

Requirements
Valid IICRC Water Technician Certification a must
Other valid IICRC Certificates would be an asset
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Ability to lift 50lbs, physically fit
Provide a clean Criminal Record Check
Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Ability to communicate clearly in English, both spoken and written (dealing with Insureds, staff and management)

Pay: $21.00-$24.00 per hour
