Mr. Foundation Inc. is looking for a reliable and hardworking DZ Driver to join our growing construction team. This position involves operating tri-axle dump trucks and other commercial vehicles to transport materials, equipment, and debris to and from residential / commercial construction and foundation repair sites throughout the Ottawa region.

The ideal candidate is safety-focused, dependable, comfortable working in a quick-paced environment, and willing to assist crews in office when required.

Responsibilities
Operate DZ-class vehicles, including tri-axle dump trucks, safely and efficiently
Transport aggregates, soil, construction materials, and equipment to job sites
Load and unload materials as required
Perform daily circle checks and maintain vehicle logs
Ensure compliance with MTO regulations and company safety policies
Assist crews with labour tasks when not driving
Coordinate with Operations and Crew Leads regarding deliveries and schedules
Maintain cleanliness and basic maintenance of trucks and equipment
Report mechanical issues or safety concerns immediately




Assist with winter operations and seasonal site support when required

Requirements
Valid Ontario DZ Driver’s License with clean driver’s abstract
Minimum 4 years experience operating DZ vehicles or tri-axle dump trucks
Construction or foundation repair industry experience considered an asset
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Strong understanding of construction site safety
Reliable transportation to and from the shop/job sites
Ability to work overtime during peak construction season
Professional attitude and strong work ethic
Experience towing equipment or operating machinery is considered an asset

Job Type: Full time

Pay: $27.00-$30.00 per hour
