Job Summary
We are seeking a agile and proactive Property Management Officer to oversee the daily operations of property portfolios, ensuring optimal maintenance, tenant relations, and administrative efficiency. This role is vital in maintaining property value, fostering positive tenant experiences, and streamlining management processes through effective communication and organization. The ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm, attention to detail, and a passion for property management to contribute to our team’s success.
Responsibilities
Manage property operations by coordinating maintenance, repairs, and inspections to ensure properties are well-maintained and compliant with safety standards.
Serve as the primary point of contact for tenants, addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and maintaining excellent customer relationships.
Utilize property management software such as Yardi to track rent payments, lease agreements, maintenance requests, and financial records accurately.
Perform scheduled furnace maintenance and routine service calls.
Diagnose furnace issues and complete minor repairs or adjustments within G3 scope.
Negotiate lease terms with prospective tenants and renewals with existing tenants to maximize occupancy rates while ensuring mutual satisfaction.
Collaborate with vendors and contractors to coordinate repairs and upgrades efficiently while adhering to budget constraints.
Uphold qualified phone etiquette when communicating with tenants, vendors, and team members to foster positive relationships.
Eligible candidate will possess the following skills
Proficiency in Yardi or similar property management software for data entry and record keeping.
· Manage all aspects of residential property operations, including leasing, tenant screening, lease administration, rent collection, renewals, move-ins/move-outs, and vacancy management
· Coordinate and supervise all maintenance and repair activities, including HVAC, roofing, plumbing, electrical systems, paving, and emergency situations .
G3 gas technician certification (TSSA)
Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) tools for scheduling maintenance tasks.
