Sous Chef — Run Rabbit | Whistler, BC

Help establish the kitchen at Run Rabbit, a recent Whistler restaurant bringing Pacific Northwest ingredients and Vietnamese influences together.

We’re looking for a hands-on sous chef who can deliver strong service, develop cooks, and help build disciplined kitchen routines from the beginning.

What you’ll do:
Support kitchen leadership with daily preparation and service.
Lead the pass or a station as required and maintain consistent food quality.
Train and support cooks with transparent, constructive feedback.
Assist with ordering, stock rotation, inventory, and waste control.
Help develop recipes, preparation systems, and plating standards.
Maintain food safety, allergen-handling, and cleaning procedures.

What you’ll bring:
Experience as a sous chef or a solid senior cook ready for greater responsibility.




Confident cooking skills and sound judgement during service.
A respectful leadership style and willingness to work alongside the team.
Understanding of portion control, food costs, and kitchen organisation.

Pay: $60,000 - $70,000 per year (or $28 - $33 per hour if you prefer more flexibility)
Expected hours: 40 per week.
Employment type and schedule: Full time. 5 days per week. Day and night shifts available.
Start date: October 31st, 2026.
