WAGE RATE: $28.667 – $29.524

Reporting to the Manager Support Services, the Security Worker safeguards and protects patients, visitors, employees, business information and physical assets from harm, loss or malicious damage.

Qualifications / Skills / Abilities:

Required
Successful completion of a minimum 2 year diploma or degree in Law and Security/Police Foundations from a recognized post-secondary institution
Licensed as defined by the Private Security and Investigative Service Act, 2005
Current Code White and Non-violent Crisis Intervention Training (CPI Certification) or willingness to obtain
Current CPR certification
Ability to follow written and verbal job instructions and meet strict timelines
Ability to meet multiple demands and prioritize duties independently with little supervision




Ability to carry out correct lifting and carrying techniques (to be tested)
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Availability to work all shifts including weekends and at other sites as required
Ability to wear the required safety footwear and personal protective equipment
Recent satisfactory performance and attendance record
