Vickar Ford is accepting resumes for an Automotive Warranty Administrator; experience preferred. Their key role is the detailed and accurate preparation, recording and submittal of warranty claims to the manufacturer and/or supplier; and reconciliation of them accordingly.

Essential Duties
Timely processing of warranty claims
Verifies criteria required by manufacturer or supplier
Processes all warranty paperwork, ensuring full and accurate documentation
Reconciles all warranty receivables with payments through the appropriate accounting schedule
Resubmits all rejected claims promptly or receives authorization to write them off.
Follows up on payment of outstanding claims
Tracks warranty parts
Arranges for parts to be shipped to the manufacturer, supplier or to be scrapped
Communicates with Service Advisors, Technicians and outside parties to resolve warranty issues
Files and maintains all service records as required by the warrantor
Keeps informed of all manufacturer recalls and bulletins




Assists with any clerical needs as directed by the Service Manager
Maintains a skilled space and a neat work area
Conforms with Manitoba and worksite safety regulations including proper use of PPE (eg hearing protection)

Qualifications
Previous experience in automotive Service Dept is preferred
Exceptional organization and attention to detail are required
Strong verbal and written communications
Must work effectively during periods of high workload
Maintain current product and technical knowledge
